Gridlocked Congress - America Is Coming Apart

source: http://rense.com/general92/grid.htm By Frosty Wooldridge

This article examines seven destructive points being injected into America by over 20 million illegal immigrants already in this country and 2 to 3 million legal and illegal immigrants arriving annually. This massive 'unarmed Army' manifests at an ever increasing speed-the undoing of America.

For the first time in history, the United States suffered a crippling attack inside its borders on 9/11. Nine years later, because our government leaders refuse to protect our southern flank, we are being attacked by an 'unarmed army' of millions who have invaded our country by crossing our borders.

Time Magazine, September 12, 2004, "Who Left the Door Open?" documented 4,000 illegal aliens crossing nightly and over three million intruders crossed in 2004. It's an invasion unprecedented in the history of the United States. Worse, it's being facilitated by our elected leaders to the highest levels in the White House.

Even more distressing is a concerted push by both major parties to assist this army to not only enter our country against our laws, but also to gain access to everything we have built with the blood, sweat and tears of American citizens. Illegal aliens tap into $346 billion annually across 15 federal agencies. (Source: www.thesocialcontract.com , Edwin Rubenstein report)

Today, millions of illegal aliens cause accelerating damage to our schools, hospitals, social programs, highways, language, sprawl, standard of living and our way of life. Should illegal aliens enjoy driver's licenses, amnesty, welfare and schooling of their children on our tax dollars? Just because they came here to work for a better life?

The sobering reality is that two billion people would move to America if given a ticket today. However, it's impossible. We are a nation of laws and we have horrific problems of unemployment at 15 million people, $12 trillion debt, collapsing hospitals, diseases and growing language conflicts.

Somehow, the media and the 'elite' of this country have forced us into this accelerating crisis. Polls show 70% of Americans want illegal immigration stopped and serious reductions in legal immigration down to fewer than 100,000 per year.

Astoundingly, 10 percent of Mexico now lives in our country. Fully 75 percent of all drugs cross over from Mexico. They send home hard currency of $24 billion to Mexico, $25 billion to Latin America, $16 billion to Asia thus draining our country. In short, illegal immigration degrades this country on multiple levels.

We MUST create a dialog on the future prospects of our nation by addressing seven major points: If you own a home, you maintain a door. You welcome guests after they knock and you lock it to keep out unwanted incursions. Just as every house needs a door, every country needs a border to maintain its right to privacy, self-maintenance and personal freedom. Our nation's door has been invaded by over 10 million people who broke the latch and marched in as if they had the right to such a crime. They continue at 1 million per year.

However, this nation provides the 'rule of law' as the most important brick in the foundation of our constitution. The 'rule of law' allows our freedom, our integrity and our right to choose what and whom we want or don't want in our nation. We don't want terrorists. We don't want border crashers who bring drugs. We don't want illegal aliens who suppress wages, over run our schools, usurp our language and overwhelm our social services.

Illegal immigration hurts America's poor. In a recent account in the New York Times, black children suffered 50 percent greater poverty in the past 10 years due to immigration. Illegal immigrants compete for jobs normally done by America's poor. A study by the Center for Immigration Studies wrote, "Mexican immigration is overwhelmingly unskilled and it's hard to find an economic argument for unskilled immigration because it tends to reduce wages for U.S. workers."

Cheap labor from illegal immigration is not 'cheap.' It's subsidized by all of us in the form of our tax dollars paying for their services. It makes a few employers wealthy at the expense of all of us. The National Academy of Sciences found "...a significant fiscal drain of $7,000 per student per year paid for by U.S. tax dollars."

These newcomers do not respect our English language. Adding more salt into our national wound of this invasion, there is not a single bilingual country in the world that is at peace with itself. Dozens of languages cause educational confusion, conflict and violence. When people move to this country, but maintain their language, their culture and their old loyalties, it's a recipe for the undoing of our nation.

With that demise, our cohesive national fabric shreds as ethnic ghettoes advance across our nation with rituals such as female genital mutilation, cock fighting and violent groups espousing clashing cultures. Too many unskilled, uneducated, non-English speaking people living in too much poverty will not advance our nation. The Center for Immigration Studies points out; "The lower educational attainment of immigrants persists across generations as two thirds of immigrant workers lack a high school diploma." Democracy is a delicate form of government that demands an educated populace with similar moral and ethical standards and a single language.

And finally, illegal immigrants crossing our borders without being health screened have brought us 7,000 new cases of leprosy in the past nine years. Additionally, they brought 16,000 cases of incurable (multiple drug resistant) tuberculosis, thousands of cases of hepatitis, head lice, Chagas Disease and Exotic New Castle. Since 1.1 million illegal alien children attend U.S. schools, our children are at risk.

"The one absolutely certain way of bringing this nation to ruin, or preventing all possibility of its continuing as a nation at all, would be to permit it to become a tangle of squabbling nationalities." -- President Teddy Roosevelt, 1902.

Without a national debate on illegal immigration, our country will continue its downward spiral into conditions resembling the Third World.

Their numbers will burgeon from 10 million to 20 million and beyond. If we don't take action today, we won't be able to take action tomorrow.

US economy fears as consumer confidence plunges

American consumers do not expect to be feeling any more confident in six months' time, a widely-watched index revealed today, underlining the hurdles facing a recovery in the world's biggest economy.

A woman shops at a supermarket - Food price rises helped to push CPI inflation to 4.7pc
Evidence of a flagging consumer will worry the Federal Reserve, which meets next week to decide on what, if any, further stimulus measures the economy needs.

The Thomson Reuters/University of Michigan index of consumers' future confidence fell this month to the lowest level since March 2009, when the shadow of the financial crisis hung heavily over the whole economy. Current confidence was little better, with the index dropping to 66.6 in September from 68.9 in August.

After an almost relentless stream of weak data over the summer, investors and analysts are desperately trying to gauge on the most likely path for the economy. While billionaire investor Warren Buffett has ruled out a double-dip recession, others are less sanguine.

Paul Dales of Capital Economics said that although he expects consumption to have held up this quarter, it is unlikely to be enough to give companies the confidence to start hiring. The weeks before Thanksgiving in late November – a major holiday in the US – will prove a critical test for consumers and the companies that rely on them.

Best Buy, the world's biggest consumer electronics company, and delivery company FedEx said this week that the indications are that spending should hold up.

Evidence of a flagging consumer will worry the Federal Reserve, which meets next week to decide on what, if any, further stimulus measures the economy needs.

Separate data released yesterday showed that Fed chairman Ben Bernanke has little to worry about on inflation. Underlying inflation, which strips out food and energy costs, was flat at 0.1pc in August. Analysts at Commerzbank commented that "US economy seems to be too weak too generate meaningful inflationary pressure but also too strong for a fall into deflation."

Wisconsin bank is 125th failure of 2010

SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- West Allis, Wis.-based Maritime Savings Bank was closed by regulators Friday, marking the 125th U.S. bank failure of the year. Maritime Savings Bank had $350.5 million in assets and $248.1 million in deposits as of June 30, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. said in a statement. The bank's failure will cost the deposit-insurance fund $83.6 million, the FDIC said.

Employment generation disappointing: LA City Controller

The Los Angeles City Controller said on Thursday the city's use of its share of the $800 billion federal stimulus fund has been disappointing.

The city received $111 million in stimulus under American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) approved by the Congress more than year ago.

"I'm disappointed that we've only created or retained 55 jobs after receiving $111 million," says Wendy Greuel, the city's controller, while releasing an audit report.

"With our local unemployment rate over 12% we need to do a better job cutting red tape and putting Angelenos back to work,” she added.

According to the report, the Los Angeles Department of Public Works generated only 45.46 jobs (the fraction of a job created or retained correlates to the number of actual hours of work) after receiving $70.65 million, while the target was 238 jobs.

Similarly, the city’s department of transportation, armed with a $40.8 million fund, created only 9 jobs in place of an expected 26 jobs.

The audit says the numbers were disappointing due to bureaucratic red tape, absence of competitive bidding for projects in private sectors, inappropriate tracking of stimulus money and a laxity in bringing out timely job reports.

“While it doesn’t appear that any of the ARRA funds were misspent, the City needs to do a better job expediting the process and creating jobs,” she said.

Social Security disability claims on the rise in Tampa Bay

Florida's backlog of Social Security disability cases is poised to get even longer as unemployed workers flock to the program.

In the throes of a sagging economy, more people — many who have lost their jobs during the recession — are saying they are disabled and need to tap into the insurance program.

In 2007, 149,044 initial disability claims were filed in Florida, according to the Social Security Administration. By 2009, that number jumped nearly 33 percent to 197,960 claims.

The total number of people getting Social Security disability insurance has increased as well. In 2007, there were 418,498 beneficiaries in the state. In 2009, there were 458,526, an increase of about 9.5 percent.

Applications filed in the Tampa Bay area increased about 32 percent from 2007 to 2009.

"We're going to be watching it very closely," said U.S. Rep. Kathy Castor, who has worked on the issue. "What concerns me is the existing backlog. We can't lose ground, even in the tough economic times."

Florida is leading a nationwide trend. Social Security disability benefit claims have spiked dramatically nationwide in the past few years, with applications soaring 21 percent to 2.8 million from 2008 to 2009, according to the Washington Post.

The growth is the sharpest in the 54-year history of the program. About 8 million workers were receiving disability benefits in June, an increase of 12.6 percent since the recession began in 2007, according to the Social Security Administration.

Local experts say the reason for the uptick is simple: an aging population combined with a tanking economy.

"You have a double whammy," said Michael Steinberg, a Tampa lawyer who is running for the District 47 state House seat as a Democrat.

Steinberg has handled disability claims for nearly 30 years. He said many of his new clients are baby boomers in their 50s and 60s who can't persuade employers to work with their ailments.

"It's usually the last resort," he said. "It's depressing to admit that you are no longer useful in the work force, especially when you're not even close to retirement age."

Most of the people filing claims these days have ailments associated with age, including arthritis, back problems and diabetes, local lawyers say. When times were good, they could work around their limitations; or they had been at their jobs so long that their employers made special accommodations.

But when the economy soured, many of these workers were the first to be let go. They haven't been able to find work since and Social Security benefits have become a lifeline.

"It puts people in a position where if they've lost a job they're now competing with 100 percent healthy people," said Colleen Russo, a St. Petersburg lawyer who has handled Social Security claims since 1984.

For one of her clients, Cynthia Cohen Metcalf of Largo, the fight for disability benefits took three years.

Cohen Metcalf, 56, a former X-ray technician, injured her back and suffered nerve damage in 2005 while catching a falling patient.

She tried to tough it out for a while, but by 2007 things hadn't gotten better. Physical therapy wasn't working, and no one would hire her with her medical problems. So she applied for disability and was denied twice. She was finally approved in June.

"I did everything I could," said Cohen Metcalf, who has limited mobility and faces a third back surgery. "I thought I would get better. I did without. At 56, I can't believe this. My life is focused around my pain."

Cohen Metcalf said she has many friends in the same situation. She said as employers started cutting back and requiring more of the remaining workers, those with disabilities either couldn't stick it out or were let go.

"It's forcing these people who used to tough it out to go ahead and file," Cohen Metcalf said. "It's sad."

Social Security disability payments average $1,100 a month, with benefits for spouses and children averaging $300 a month more. In addition, people on the disability rolls receive health insurance through Medicare when they have been on the program for two years.

About half of all applicants eventually make it onto the disability rolls — a percentage that has not changed appreciably with the recent spike in applications, Social Security officials say. The average age of new recipients is 49, and less than 1 percent return to work, according to the Congressional Budget Office.

Officials acknowledge the souring economy may have pushed some unqualified applicants to try to get disability benefits out of desperation. If people are doing that, experts say, they will quickly realize disability benefits aren't a quick fix.

It can take years for a person to be qualified. About two-thirds of people are initially denied, according to Dan Allsup, the communications director for Allsup Inc., a company representing people trying to get benefits.

The Tampa Bay area has had one of the nation's worst backlogs. The national average waiting time to get benefits is 410 days after a person already has been denied twice, Allsup said, and it usually takes at least a year for a person to get to those first denials, he said.

The wait time in Tampa, he said, is 416 days. In St. Petersburg, the wait is 291 days.

In 2008, the Social Security Administration announced it was going to add administrative judges and send some local cases to other offices. A few months ago, an office opened in downtown St. Petersburg, which has lightened the load for the Tampa office.

"Social Security has made some real strides in cutting the backlog, but it's appalling that 416 days is an improvement," Allsup said. "Things are getting better, but it's still terrible."

The bulging rolls of the disability program are not expected to ease any time soon, according to the Congressional Budget Office. It projects the number of people receiving the benefits will reach 11.4 million by 2015.

The crush of new enrollees is placing an unsustainable financial burden on the Disability Insurance Trust Fund. Currently, the program costs $124 billion a year. Absent changes, the fund, which is financed mostly by a 1.8 percent payroll tax, will be exhausted by 2018.

Regardless of the existing backlog and new claims, experts say they are confident the system will weed out those who are trying to fraudulently get benefits.

Applicants must show a documented work history and meet a strict definition of disabled. Lawyers and companies like Allsup said they strictly screen clients.

"If a person is able to work, regardless if they cannot find work, then they should not get benefits," Allsup said.

The Long Road to Recovery

David Galland, Managing Editor

Last week the government released the latest unemployment data. Bloomberg, always ready to roll up the sleeves to help its friends in government (get reelected), was running a headline that “Companies in U.S. Added 67,000 Jobs in August.”

While I haven’t had time to go through the minutiae of the report, I find myself scratching my head at Mr. Market’s rather positive reaction to the report, given the bullet points:

  • Manufacturing payrolls declined by 27,000.

  • Employment at service-providers fell by 54,000.

  • Retailers cut 4,900 workers.

  • State and local governments gave walking papers to 10,000 people.

  • The federal government cut 111,000 jobs (mostly temporary census workers).

  • The number of “underemployed” – people who want full-time work, but have given up and are now working part-time, increased again, from 16.5% to 16.7%.

The fine folks at Chart of the Day just published their take on the numbers. You may see something cheerful in this snapshot, but if so, it eludes me…
Interestingly, a week ago ADP, a company that does real-time payroll processing for about one in every six U.S. workers, and whose data – because it is based on hard data and not surveying – has tended to be accurate, released its report for August employment. Based on ADP’s data, they had forecasted that the construction industry had actually cut 33,000 jobs in August.

Their data pointed to an overall decline in the work force of 105,000 jobs, worse than the government’s numbers that showed overall unemployment rose by 54,000 – moving the unemployment rate from 9.5% back up to 9.6%.

At all times, but especially ahead of an election as important as November’s, you can count me skeptical in the extreme when it comes to government data. Especially when it flies in the face of the clear trends in motion. Even with the government’s stimulus funds still coursing through the economy, in the second quarter U.S. gross domestic product fell by more than half, to an annualized rate of just 1.6%. Without the government’s supercharged spending, it’s been calculated that actual GDP would have been halved again.

So, where are all these new private-sector jobs coming from?

The construction industry was reported to have hired 19,000 people – a good number of whom, I suspect, are working on government-subsidized projects. At least in this neighborhood – and everywhere else I’ve traveled over the summer – there are almost no new houses being built. But there are a lot of roads being paved, whether they need it or not.

It also was reported that 17,000 new temps were hired in August. Historically, the number of temporary workers rises throughout the duration of a recession. In fact, only when the number of temps decisively turns down, in conjunction with full-time employment turning up, can we begin to expect that the economy is on the road to recovery.

Health care also added a fair number of jobs, over 20,000. The nation’s hospitals and medical facilities are dangerously understaffed – especially ahead of the pending nationalization of the industry and the added demand that will trigger – so this is a bright spot, of sorts.

And the mining industry added 8,000 jobs, as you would expect it to. All to the good, until the next round of legislation sends this and other “dirty” businesses back into retreat. (A major overhaul of the U.S. mining regulations was temporarily shelved because the Democrats were concerned it would hamper Nevada senator Harry Reid’s reelection chances. After the elections, expect it to resurface.)

However, even if you take the government’s latest unemployment report at face value and accept that the private sector added 67,000 jobs, with overall employment falling again by “just” 54,000, the country still hasn’t even begun the process of clawing back the more than 8.4 million jobs lost since this crisis hit.

And, given that the economy is being helped along through overt stimulus and the Fed’s not-so-overt policy of maintaining abnormally low interest rates, conditions for a recovery are about as favorable as they’re going to get.

As Bud Conrad explains in detail in the current edition of The Casey Report, these low interest rates simply can’t continue. And when they start to go up, along with taxes as the Bush tax cuts expire, the faltering economy will be dealt another body blow. (Click here to read Bud’s analysis.)

I might quip that the road to recovery will be long indeed, but that would be inappropriate, because so far the road to recovery is nowhere in sight.

Monsanto, Blackwater and GM crop saboteurs

Agribusiness giant Monsanto, which genetically modifies plants to excude or tolerate pesticide or to produce nonviable seeds, hired the services of the mercenary firm Blackwater to spy on activists, Jeremy Scahill reports. A death-tech firm weds a hit squad.

This is no doubt in response to a decade of GM crop sabotage efforts around the globe. Since the publicly-announced introduction of GM crops in 1996, concerned citizens have vandalized such crops every single year somewhere on the planet. Several thousand GM plants have been partially or wholly destroyed. (See brief history below.)

Blackwater is most notorious for its Nisour Square Massacre in 2007. Seventeen innocent civilians died when Blackwater goons opened fire in a busy market square. The hit team was later acquitted.

Scahill reports that through its web of companies, Blackwater (now Xe Services) spied on and/or infilitrated groups opposing Monsanto in 2008 thru earily 2010. He writes:

“The relationship between the two companies appears to have been solidified in January 2008 when Total Intelligence chair Cofer Black traveled to Zurich to meet with Kevin Wilson, Monsanto’s security manager for global issues.

“After the meeting in Zurich, Black sent an e-mail to other Blackwater executives, including to [then-president Erik] Prince and [former CIA paramilitary officer Enrique] Prado at their Blackwater e-mail addresses.

“Black wrote that Wilson ‘understands that we can span collection from internet, to reach out, to boots on the ground on legit basis protecting the Monsanto [brand] name…. Ahead of the curve info and insight/heads up is what he is looking for.’

“Black added that Total Intelligence ‘would develop into acting as intel arm of Monsanto.’ Black also noted that Monsanto was concerned about animal rights activists and that they discussed how Blackwater ‘could have our person(s) actually join [activist] group(s) legally.’ ….

“Reached by telephone and asked about the meeting with Black in Zurich, Monsanto’s Wilson initially said, ‘I’m not going to discuss it with you.’ In a subsequent e-mail to The Nation, Wilson confirmed he met Black in Zurich and that Monsanto hired Total Intelligence in 2008 and worked with the company until early 2010. He denied that he and Black discussed infiltrating animal rights groups, stating ‘there was no such discussion.’”

Deer with chronic wasting disease found in more Alberta areas

By Hanneke Brooymans
edmontonjournal.com

EDMONTON — The Alberta government is expanding its hunter surveillance program for chronic wasting disease, as positive deer continue to turn up in an increasingly larger area.

An additional seven wildlife management units were added to the list this year, bringing the total to 26. Hunters must turn in the heads of any deer killed in this area for testing. The area began by hugging the Alberta/Saskatchewan border, but has since expanded west and south…………

CWD is caused by a prion, similar to bovine spongiform encephalopathy, that causes deer to slowly waste away. There is no evidence that the disease in its current form can infect humans, though some recent research out of the United States suggests that if it adapted the strain could infect humans. The World Health Organization recommends a precautionary approach and recommends any animal product known to be infected with any prion disease not be consumed by humans.

Monster cold snap hits state

STRONG winds, heavy snow and record cold resulted in blackouts and road closures across the state yesterday.

Snowfall was reported in several areas and weather bureau records indicated it was the coldest September day Hobart had experienced since 1985.

Gusting winds brought down trees and spread debris, affecting traffic and power lines statewide.

More than 12,000 Tasmanians experienced interruptions to their power as a result of the weather chaos.

Do you have a snow picture from today?
Send it in to us or MMS it to us on 0412 201 838.

Aurora public relations officer Denice Barker said maintenance crews were still out last night attending power failures.

"There's still about 6500 people who don't have any power, mostly in the North and North-West," Ms Barker said.

"Hopefully those customers will have their power back on by tonight [last night] or tomorrow [today], but there's no estimate at this time."

Aurora sent 46 maintenance crews to 35 reports of wires down and 18 reports of trees falling on power lines as well as other weather-related outages.

While traffic was held up by fallen trees and road closures, motorists seem to have heeded warnings from police to be careful, with few collisions reported and no major injuries or fatalities recorded.

Tasmania Police advised closure of several roads, including Pillinger Drive at the foot of Pinnacle Rd to Mt Wellington and parts of Cradle Mountain Rd.

One incident added to Aurora's woes. Almost 1500 residents in the state's South experienced outages after a car hit a power pole at Nicholls Rivulet yesterday morning.

Cradle Mountain Park ranger Cameron Brooke said 30-40cm of snow had fallen overnight on Wednesday, which led to the closure of parts of Cradle Mountain Rd yesterday.

"It's been a huge dumping of snow," Mr Brooke said. "We've had to turn most vehicles back, but we have been letting a few four-wheel-drives through once we've made sure they can handle the conditions."

Mr Brooke said there hadn't been any collisions on Cradle Mountain Rd but several cars had to be rescued from ditches.

He expects similar conditions until at least Sunday.

"We've got a snow plough working overtime to clear the road, but we're expecting more snow over the next few days," he said.

Weather bureau climatologist Ian Barnes-Keoghan said Tasmania had not seen weather like this since 2002.

"We've had a mild and dry start to the year, which is now turning to cold, wet and windy -- it's unusual," he said.

Hobart's maximum temperature was 8.5C, which is 6.7C less than the September average.

Winds gusted up to 141km/h at Cape Bruny and 94km/h in Hobart -- much higher than the September averages.

Mr Barnes-Keoghan believes the trend of weather is slowly improving, but Tasmanians should be ready for some more bad conditions.

"There's still more of this kind of weather to come," he said.

"We advise the public to check the bureau and police warnings on the internet to keep up to date with what's going on."

Video: Broke Towns Can’t Afford to Drug Constituents with Fluoride

(InformationLiberation) – Who said the recession is all bad? On the bright side, it’s forcing some towns to stop adding fluoride to their water supplies. A small town in Alabama has decided to stop fluoridating their water due to economic reasons, they say it will save them 50k a year.

“I guess we wound up saving about 50-thousand dollars a year in the production of our water, and we’re a small system so 50-thousand dollars a year is a big savings,” said Joe Beasley, Red Bay Water and Gas Department.

Apparently, they actually looked at the science, so perhaps they felt the recession was as good an excuse as ever to stop force drugging everyone.

“They had officials look at several studies and never found any evidence that supported keeping the fluoride in the water.”

The Montgomery Advertiser reports 18 other water systems in Alabama have also put their forced drugging program on hold.

Goode said that unlike some states that mandate by legislation that public water systems add fluoride to their water, Alabama does not.

“Water systems may decide to discontinue fluoridating, which is a concern for the department and the communities.”

Yes, what a terrible tragedy that the government doesn’t mandate by law people’s own tax money be used to forcibly drug their water supplies.

He told the members of the committee that the state might be “losing the battle on fluoridation.”

Williamson said that the economy might be causing some systems to decide that it is too costly to maintain the equipment that provides the fluoride, or they have done away with the service all together.

“That’s a problem,” he said.

A problem for the state, yes. A problem for the people, no.

There is absolutely no evidence fluoride helps anyone, in fact, the opposite is true. To quote from an excellent exposé:

The history of forcing fluoride on humans through the fluoridation of drinking water is wrought with lies, greed and deception. Governments that add fluoride to drinking water supplies insist that it is safe, beneficial and necessary, however, scientific evidence shows that fluoride is not safe to ingest and areas that fluoridate their drinking water supplies have higher rates of cavities, cancer, dental fluorosis, osteoporosis and other health problems. Because of the push from the aluminum industry, pharmaceutical companies and weapons manufacturers, fluoride continues to be added to water supplies all over North America and due to recent legal actions against water companies that fluoridate drinking water supplies, precedent has been set that will make it impossible for suits to be filed against water suppliers that fluoridate. There is a growing resistance against adding toxic fluoride to our water supplies, but unfortunately, because fluoride has become “the lifeblood of the modern industrial economy”(Bryson 2004), there is too much money at stake for those who endorse water fluoridation . The lies of the benefits of water fluoridation will continue to be fed to the public, not to encourage health benefits to a large number of people, but to profit the military-industrial complex. - The Fluoride Conspiracy

Here is an excellent documentary on the history of water fluoridation for those who want to learn more:

Film Description

A chronicle of the abuse of power and of the manufacture of state sponsored medical propaganda, The Fluoride Deception reveals how military and industry scientists and public health officials buried information about fluoride’s potential for harm, while promoting its use in dentistry.

The book reveals that fluoride pollution was the greatest legal threat facing the Manhattan Project and how a group of powerful Cold War industries, who all faced extensive litigation for fluoride pollution, collaborated with officials from the National Institutes of Dental Research, laundering fluoride’s public image.

We’ll sit with the famous doctor who reported in the 1950’s that fluoride was a systemic poison, with tens of thousands of citizens uniquely sensitive to even tiny doses. We’ll walk the cobbled streets of Donora, Pennsylvania, in the aftermath of the nation’s most notorious air pollution disaster in 1948, and meet the scientist who blamed fluoride for the deaths. And, when a superstar toxicologist is fired in 1995, after discovering that fluoride affects the central nervous system, we’ll uncover a stunning connection to the WWII atomic bomb program. Today that scientist joins a growing number of health experts who call fluoride a venomous and hydra-headed poison. They suspect its involvement in a host of modern illnesses, including arthritis, bone cancer, and emphysema, and a spectrum of central nervous system disorders such as Alzheimer’s disease and attention deficit disorder.

General Patton Discovered the Truth

George Patton was a highly decorated war hero from WWII who led the Third Army to victory in many campaigns. After the war, General Patton was tasked with control of the larger portion of American occupied Germany, and his job was to dole out justice to the newly defeated enemy. It was the summer of 1945, and after the end of the fighting, General Patton started to get a grip on what had really transpired around him.

A real fighter, and war hero, George Patton could have turned the tide of history once he realized what happened during WWII.

As General Patton started to actually become acquainted with the defeated Germans and America’s Soviet allies, Patton finally realized what he was in the midst of, and his opinions about the war, and both our enemies and allies changed drastically. What Patton realized was recorded in his diary, and in letters to everyone from his family and friends, to other military and government personnel.

It’s a good thing that these writings were preserved, so that we could see how even America’s “most fightingest General” knew that something was wrong with the outcome of WWII. In those writings it is clear that Patton realized that these new “allies” of ours were more of a danger than the Germans ever were. I only wish that Patton were still alive today to see with the hindsight that is available to us now. We can only wish that Patton would have known then what many of us know now about the dangers of jew Bolshevik communists, but Patton quickly caught on that something was a miss when the war ended.

Patton was not only labeled the “fightingest” General in the American Army, he was the Army’s youngest ever “Master of the Sword” and redesigned the sword carried by Army personnel, which became known as the Patton saber. Patton was also an olypmic athlete who competed in pistol shooting, running, equestrian, and swimming events. To top it all off, George Patton was a valiant fighter, and a pioneer of armored warfare, who made numerous improvements to tank warfare in the form of communications, tank movements, etc.

America's most fightingest General George Patton realized after the war that Europe had been handed over to jewish communists.

The rest of this article is a summary compiled by someone else from a book called the Patton Papers, published in 1947, which contained the diary entries, letters, and other writings. What follows from this point on is not my own writing, but is recorded here in fair use for readers of SN to get a good glimpse of how even those who are duped by the jewish war machine can come to see the truth about world events.

It also goes to show that many of those who fought for the jews, never quite knew what it was they were doing until it was too late. General Patton discovered the truth, and for that, he paid with his life. This is real history, and this we shall NEVER FORGET.

On May 7, 1945, just before the German capitulation, Patton had a conference in Austria with U.S. Secretary of War Robert Patterson. Patton was gravely concerned over the Soviet failure to respect the demarcation lines separating the Soviet and American occupation zones. He was also alarmed by plans in Washington for the immediate partial demobilization of the U.S. Army.

Patton said to Patterson: “Let’s keep our boots polished, bayonets sharpened, and present a picture of force and strength to the Red Army. This is the only language they understand and respect.”

Patterson replied, “Oh, George, you have been so close to this thing so long, you have lost sight of the big picture.”

Patton rejoined:

“I understand the situation. Their (the Soviet) supply system is inadequate to maintain them in a serious action such as I could put to them. They have chickens in the coop and cattle on the hoof — that’s their supply system. They could probably maintain themselves in the type of fighting I could give them for five days. After that it would make no difference how many million men they have, and if you wanted Moscow I could give it to you. They lived on the land coming down. There is insufficient left for them to maintain themselves going back. Let’s not give them time to build up their supplies. If we do, then . . . we have had a victory over the Germans and disarmed them, but we have failed in the liberation of Europe; we have lost the war!”

After the war, General Patton quickly began to despise the Russian communists, and attempted to get American forces to push them back out of Europe, knowing he could lick them easily.

Patton’s urgent and prophetic advice went unheeded by Patterson and the other politicians and only served to give warning about Patton’s feelings to the alien conspirators behind the scenes in New York, Washington, and Moscow.

The more he saw of the Soviets, the stronger Patton’s conviction grew that the proper course of action would be to stifle communism then and there, while the chance existed. Later in May 1945 he attended several meetings and social affairs with top Red Army officers, and he evaluated them carefully. He noted in his diary on May 14:

“I have never seen in any army at any time, including the German Imperial Army of 1912, as severe discipline as exists in the Russian army. The officers, with few exceptions, give the appearance of recently civilized Mongolian bandits.”

And Patton’s aide, General Hobart Gay, noted in his own journal for May 14: “Everything they (the Russians) did impressed one with the idea of virility and cruelty.”

Nevertheless, Patton knew that the Americans could whip the Reds then — but perhaps not later. On May 18 he noted in his diary:

“In my opinion, the American Army as it now exists could beat the Russians with the greatest of ease, because, while the Russians have good infantry, they are lacking in artillery, air, tanks, and in the knowledge of the use of the combined arms, whereas we excel in all three of these. If it should be necessary to fight the Russians, the sooner we do it the better.”

Two days later he repeated his concern when he wrote his wife: “If we have to fight them, now is the time. From now on we will get weaker and they stronger.”

Patton could see that jews were filthy disgusting creatures who often refused to even use a latrine, most of them opting to use the floor instead.

Having immediately recognized the Soviet danger and urged a course of action which would have freed all of eastern Europe from the communist yoke with the expenditure of far less American blood than was spilled in Korea and Vietnam and would have obviated both those later wars not to mention World War III — Patton next came to appreciate the true nature of the people for whom World War II was fought: the Jews.

Most of the Jews swarming over Germany immediately after the war came from Poland and Russia, and Patton found their personal habits shockingly uncivilized.

He was disgusted by their behavior in the camps for Displaced Persons (DP’s) which the Americans built for them and even more disgusted by the way they behaved when they were housed in German hospitals and private homes. He observed with horror that “these people do not understand toilets and refuse to use them except as repositories for tin cans, garbage, and refuse . . . They decline, where practicable, to use latrines, preferring to relieve themselves on the floor.”

He described in his diary one DP camp,

“where, although room existed, the Jews were crowded together to an appalling extent, and in practically every room there was a pile of garbage in one corner which was also used as a latrine. The Jews were only forced to desist from their nastiness and clean up the mess by the threat of the butt ends of rifles. Of course, I know the expression ‘lost tribes of Israel’ applied to the tribes which disappeared — not to the tribe of Judah from which the current sons of bitches are descended. However, it is my personal opinion that this too is a lost tribe — lost to all decency.”

Patton’s initial impressions of the Jews were not improved when he attended a Jewish religious service at Eisenhower’s insistence. His diary entry for September 17, 1945, reads in part:

“This happened to be the feast of Yom Kippur, so they were all collected in a large, wooden building, which they called a synagogue. It behooved General Eisenhower to make a speech to them. We entered the synagogue, which was packed with the greatest stinking bunch of humanity I have ever seen. When we got about halfway up, the head rabbi, who was dressed in a fur hat similar to that worn by Henry VIII of England and in a surplice heavily embroidered and very filthy, came down and met the General . . . The smell was so terrible that I almost fainted and actually about three hours later lost my lunch as the result of remembering it.”

Here some Finnish jews sit in front of their "field synagogue" where they no doubt prayed for the torment of humanity daily.

These experiences and a great many others firmly convinced Patton that the Jews were an especially unsavory variety of creature and hardly deserving of all the official concern the American government was bestowing on them.

Another September diary entry, following a demand from Washington that more German housing be turned over to Jews, summed up his feelings:

“Evidently the virus started by Morgenthau and Baruch of a Semitic revenge against all Germans is still working. Harrison (a U.S. State Department official) and his associates indicate that they feel German civilians should be removed from houses for the purpose of housing Displaced Persons. There are two errors in this assumption. First, when we remove an individual German we punish an individual German, while the punishment is — not intended for the individual but for the race.

Furthermore, it is against my Anglo-Saxon conscience to remove a person from a house, which is a punishment, without due process of law. In the second place, Harrison and his ilk believe that the Displaced Person is a human being, which he is not, and this applies particularly to the Jews, who are lower than animals.”

One of the strongest factors in straightening out General Patton’s thinking on the conquered Germans was the behavior of America’s controlled news media toward them. At a press conference in Regensburg, Germany, on May 8, 1945, immediately after Germany’s surrender, Patton was asked whether he planned to treat captured SS troops differently from other German POW’s. His answer was:

“No. SS means no more in Germany than being a Democrat in America — that is not to be quoted. I mean by that that initially the SS people were special sons of bitches, but as the war progressed they ran out of sons of bitches and then they put anybody in there. Some of the top SS men will be treated as criminals, but there is no reason for trying someone who was drafted into this outfit . . .”

General Patton stirred up trouble by speaking out against war ciminal trials, bombing German factories after the war, and throwing Germans out of their homes for jews.

Despite Patton’s request that his remark not be quoted, the press eagerly seized on it, and Jews and their front men in America screamed in outrage over Patton’s comparison of the SS and the Democratic Party as well as over his announced intention of treating most SS prisoners humanely.

With great reluctance, and only after repeated promptings from Eisenhower, he had thrown German families out of their homes to make room for more than a million Jewish DP’s — part of the famous “six million” who had supposedly been gassed — but he balked when ordered to begin blowing up German factories, in accord with the infamous Morgenthau Plan to destroy Germany’s economic basis forever. In his diary he wrote:

“I doubted the expediency of blowing up factories, because the ends for which the factories are being blown up — that is, preventing Germany from preparing for war — can be equally well attained through the destruction of their machinery, while the buildings can be used to house thousands of homeless persons.”

Similarly, he expressed his doubts to his military colleagues about the overwhelming emphasis being placed on the persecution of every German who had formerly been a member of the National Socialist party. In a letter to his wife of September 14, 1945, he said:

“I am frankly opposed to this war criminal stuff. It is not cricket and is Semitic. I am also opposed to sending POW’s to work as slaves in foreign lands (i.e., the Soviet Union’s Gulags), where many will be starved to death.”

Despite his disagreement with official policy, Patton followed the rules laid down by Morgenthau and others back in Washington as closely as his conscience would allow, but he tried to moderate the effect, and this brought him into increasing conflict with Eisenhower and the other politically ambitious generals. In another letter to his wife he commented:

“I have been at Frankfurt for a civil government conference. If what we are doing (to the Germans) is ‘Liberty, then give me death.’ I can’t see how Americans can sink so low. It is Semitic, and I am sure of it.”

And in his diary he noted:,

“Today we received orders . . . in which we were told to give the Jews special accommodations. If for Jews, why not Catholics, Mormons, etc? . . . We are also turning over to the French several hundred thousand prisoners of war to be used as slave labor in France. It is amusing to recall that we fought the Revolution in defense of the rights of man and the Civil War to abolish slavery and have now gone back on both principles.”

His duties as military governor took Patton to all parts of Germany and intimately acquainted him with the German people and their condition. He could not help but compare them with the French, the Italians, the Belgians, and even the British. This comparison gradually forced him to the conclusion that World War II had been fought against the wrong people.

When Patton saw how much destruction had been wrought on Germany, and recognized the communists as our real enemies, he was as devastated as Berlin it's self.

After a visit to ruined Berlin, he wrote his wife on July 21, 1945: “Berlin gave me the blues. We have destroyed what could have been a good race, and we are about to replace them with Mongolian savages. And all Europe will be communist. It’s said that for the first week after they took it (Berlin), all women who ran were shot and those who did not were raped. I could have taken it (instead of the Soviets) had I been allowed.”

This conviction, that the politicians had used him and the U.S. Army for a criminal purpose, grew in the following weeks. During a dinner with French General Alphonse Juin in August, Patton was surprised to find the Frenchman in agreement with him. His diary entry for August 18 quotes Gen. Juin: “It is indeed unfortunate, mon General, that the English and the Americans have destroyed in Europe the only sound country — and I do not mean France. Therefore, the road is now open for the advent of Russian communism.”

Later diary entries and letters to his wife reiterate this same conclusion. On August 31 he wrote: “Actually, the Germans are the only decent people left in Europe. it’s a choice between them and the Russians. I prefer the Germans.” And on September 2: “What we are doing is to destroy the only semi-modern state in Europe, so that Russia can swallow the whole.”

By this time the Morgenthauists and media monopolists had decided that Patton was incorrigible and must be discredited. So they began a non-stop hounding of him in the press, a la Watergate, accusing him of being “soft on Nazis” and continually recalling an incident in which he had slapped a shirker two years previously, during the Sicily campaign. A New York newspaper printed the completely false claim that when Patton had slapped the soldier who was Jewish, he had called him a “yellow-bellied Jew.”

Then, in a press conference on September 22, reporters hatched a scheme to needle Patton into losing his temper and making statements which could be used against him. The scheme worked. The press interpreted one of Patton’s answers to their insistent questions as to why he was not pressing the Nazi-hunt hard enough as: “The Nazi thing is just like a Democrat-Republican fight.” The New York Times headlined this quote, and other papers all across America picked it up.

The unmistakable hatred which had been directed at him during this press conference finally opened Patton’s eyes fully as to what was afoot. In his diary that night lie wrote:

“There is a very apparent Semitic influence in the press. They are trying to do two things: first, implement communism, and second, see that all businessmen of German ancestry and non-Jewish antecedents are thrown out of their jobs.

“They have utterly lost the Anglo-Saxon conception of justice and feel that a man can be kicked out because somebody else says he is a Nazi. They were evidently quite shocked when I told them I would kick nobody out without the successful proof of guilt before a court of law . . .

“Another point which the press harped on was the fact that we were doing too much for the Germans to the detriment of the DP’s, most of whom are Jews. I could not give the answer to that one, because the answer is that, in my opinion and that of most nonpolitical officers, it is vitally necessary for us to build Germany up now as a buffer state against Russia. In fact, I am afraid we have waited too long.”

And in a letter of the same date to his wife: “I will probably be in the headlines before you get this, as the press is trying to quote me as being more interested in restoring order in Germany than in catching Nazis. I can’t tell them the truth that unless we restore Germany we will insure that communism takes America.”

Unlike Patton, General Eisenhower was a good for nothing jew with an agenda, who constantly blocked Patton from standing up for Germany.

Eisenhower responded immediately to the press outcry against Patton and made the decision to relieve him of his duties as military governor and “kick him upstairs” as the commander of the Fifteenth Army. In a letter to his wife on September 29, Patton indicated that he was, in a way, not unhappy with his new assignment, because “I would like it much better than being a sort of executioner to the best race in Europe.”

On October 22 he wrote a long letter to Maj. Gen. James G. Harbord, who was back in the States. In the letter Patton bitterly condemned the Morgenthau policy; Eisenhower’s pusillanimous behavior in the face of Jewish demands; the strong pro-Soviet bias in the press; and the politicization, corruption, degradation, and demoralization of the U.S. Army which these things were causing.

He saw the demoralization of the Army as a deliberate goal of America’s enemies:

“I have been just as furious as you at the compilation of lies which the communist and Semitic elements of our government have leveled against me and practically every other commander. In my opinion it is a deliberate attempt to alienate the soldier vote from the commanders, because the communists know that soldiers are not communistic, and they fear what eleven million votes (of veterans) would do.”

In his letter to Harbord, Patton also revealed his own plans to fight those who were destroying the morale and integrity of the Army and endangering America’s future by not opposing the growing Soviet might:

“It is my present thought . . . that when I finish this job, which will be around the first of the year, I shall resign, not retire, because if I retire I will still have a gag in my mouth . . . I should not start a limited counterattack, which would be contrary to my military theories, but should wait until I can start an all-out offensive . . . .”

Native Hawaiian death rate higher than white Americans

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - And a new study shows Native Hawaiians have higher risks of death than white Americans.

Researchers found Hawaiian babies under a year old, and young people between 15 and 34 are especially vulnerable.

But older Hawaiians over 65 also have higher death rates than either black or white Americans.

Experts say more studies are needed to figure out why.

Google Is Now Officially Evil

Sorry, Google, but according to the lawsuit Skyhook filed against you today, you've crossed the line. Your "don't be evil" mantra is now officially a joke.

The evidence?

Today, Skyhook announced that it is suing Google for interfering with its business, costing the small company sums exceeding "tens of millions of dollars."

In short, Skyhook says that Google effectively forced Motorola to cancel a deal with Skyhook in which Skyhook would have provided location-based services in Motorola phones -- because Google wanted Motorola to use Google's own location services instead.

Google's leverage was threatening to withhold certification of Motorola's Google Android-based phone, according to Skyhook CEO Ted Morgan, which would have prevented Motorola from selling it.

Google cares about Motorola using Google's service because collecting location data is worth "billions of dollars" to Google, the complaint alleges. (For more details about the suit, and the lawsuit itself, see our earlier post.)

All's fair in business, we suppose. But Google is now basically acting like heyday-era Microsoft here, throwing its weight around and screwing over small companies for its own gain. Google Android boss Andy Rubin went as far as to call Motorola co-CEO Sanjay Jha "multiple times" to impose a "stop ship" order on the company's phones, according to Skyhook's complaint.

Also, most companies don't have mantras like "don't be evil." And now, neither can Google -- not with a straight face, at least.

This move sounds especially evil because Android is supposed to be an "open" mobile platform for handset makers, with an open ecosystem -- one that theoretically lets handset makers and application developers control their own destinies. But it turns out "open" is only "open" in Google's world if it furthers Google's aims.

Canada Colludes in Suppressing Palestinians

Current peace negotiations between Israeli and Palestinian officials are unlikely to end, let alone reverse, Palestinian dispossession. The power imbalance between the sides is simply too great. While Canada could be part of the solution, so far it has been part of the problem.

The largest Palestinian political force, Hamas, has been excluded from these U.S.-sponsored talks, while the electoral mandate of the Palestinian representative, Mahmoud Abbas, expired 20 months ago. Abbas, who arbitrarily extended his term as Palestinian Authority President, is heavily dependent on countries such as the U.S. and Canada, and this has undermined his negotiating position.

After Hamas won Canadian-monitored and facilitated legislative elections in early 2006, Stephen Harper made Canada the first country to cut its assistance to the Palestinian Authority. The goal was to sow division among Palestinians, and it worked. Immediately after the Palestinian unity government collapsed in mid 2007, the Canadian International Development Agency contributed $8 million “in direct support to the new [Abbas-led] government.”

Ottawa pumped millions of dollars into training a Palestinian security force “to ensure that the PA [Palestinian Authority] maintains control of the West Bank against Hamas,” as Canadian ambassador to Israel, Jon Allen, was quoted as saying by the Canadian Jewish News.

U.S. Lt.-Gen. Keith Dayton, in charge of organizing the 10,000-member Palestinian force supported by Canada, never admitted that he was strengthening Mahmoud Abbas’ Fatah against Hamas, but to justify his program Dayton argued that Iran and Syria funded and armed Hamas. Bolstering Fatah to counteract the growing strength of Hamas was the impetus for Dayton’s mission, yet the broader aim was, and is, to build a force to patrol Israel’s occupation.

“We don’t provide anything to the Palestinians,” noted Dayton, “unless it has been thoroughly coordinated with the state of Israel and they agree to it.” For instance, Israel’s internal intelligence agency, the Shin-Bet, vets all of the Palestinian recruits.

Brigadier-General Michael Herzog, chief of staff to Defence Minister Ehud Barak, explained the Israeli military’s position: “We’re very happy with what he’s [Dayton] doing.”

The Israelis support Dayton’s force because it keeps the population in the West Bank under control. On August 25, Abbas’s security force suppressed a demonstration in Ramallah against the current negotiations, which are taking place without preconditions and while Israel continues to build the wall as well as Jewish settlements in the West Bank and East Jerusalem. Similarly, 20 months ago, “Dayton’s men” (as they are derisively called by Palestinians) disrupted demonstrations in the West Bank against Israel’s 22-day assault on Gaza that left 1,400 dead.

The new Palestinian security forces are primarily trained in Jordan at the U.S.- built International Police Training Center (created to train Iraqi security). In October 2009 the Wall Street Journal reported, “[Palestinian] recruits are trained in Jordan by Jordanian police, under the supervision of American, Canadian, and British officers.”

In the West Bank, 18 Canadian troops work with six British and 10 U.S. soldiers under Dayton’s command. “The Canadian contribution is invaluable,” explained Dayton. Canadians are particularly useful because “U.S. personnel have travel restrictions when operating in the West Bank. But, our British and Canadian members do not.” Calling them his “eyes and ears” Dayton said, “The Canadians … are organized in teams we call road warriors, and they move around the West Bank daily visiting Palestinian security leaders, gauging local conditions.”

Ottawa has invested heavily in Dayton’s mission. In January 2007, then foreign affairs minister, Peter MacKay, offered an immediate $1.2-million for Dayton’s mission, and during a joint press conference in Jerusalem, then U.S. secretary of state, Condoleezza Rice, said Dayton “has a Canadian counterpart with whom he works very closely.” When Foreign Affairs Minister, Maxime Bernier, traveled to Israel in January 2008, he met Dayton, and last October Canada’s chief of defence, Walt Naynczyk, visited Canada’s “road warriors” during a trip to meet Israeli military officials.

Part of the U.S. Security Coordinator office in Jerusalem, the Canadian military mission in the West Bank (dubbed Operation PROTEUS) now includes RCMP officers as well as officials from Foreign Affairs, Justice Canada and the Canadian Border Services Agency. According to deputy Foreign Affairs Minister, Peter Kent, Operation PROTEUS is Canada’s “second largest deployment after Afghanistan” and it receives “most of the money” from a five-year $300 million Canadian “aid” program to support the security apparatus of Abbas’ Palestinian Authority.

As the weaker side, Palestinians need countries like the U.S. and Canada to pressure Israel to return land it occupies against international law. Unfortunately, the current negotiations have begun with Canada and the U.S. undermining Palestinian unity and strengthening the long-suffering population’s most compliant leaders.

Flying Saucers

CIA Declassified Document: Sept. 7, 1952

"It is recommended that: a. The Director of Central Intelligence advise the National Security Council of the security implications inherent in the flying saucer problem. b. CIA, under its assigned responsibilities, and in cooperation with the psychological strategy board, immediately investigate possible offensive or defensive utilization of the phenomena for psychological warfare purposes both for and against the United States."
-- From a CIA declassified document titled "Flying Saucers" and dated Sept. 7, 1952

Dear friends,

The CIA has posted on its website many declassified documents on UFOs and "flying saucers." One of the most intriguing of these is copied in full below, with bold font added to key sections. Note that this document was written just over a month after a flyover of Washington, D.C. by a group of these flying saucers. You can read a fascinating article published in the Washington Post on this flyover at this link. For more on this key incident, click here. The CIA's response to the possibility of flying saucers, as indicated in the document below, is quite revealing.

Another declassified document on the subject of flying saucers is also quite revealing. In this FBI document from 1947 – shortly after the Roswell incident – former FBI chief J. Edgar Hoover laments that he was not given access to any of the discs recovered. You can find a summary of this document at this link, with information on how to access the original on the FBI website.

To access the revealing document below on the CIA website, first click on this link. On the webpage that appears, click the first link there, titled "FLYING SAUCERS." You can then scroll through the pages of this revealing document using the "Next" button at the bottom of each page. FLYING SAUCERS - Created: 9/7/1952

MEMORANDUM FOR: Director of Central Intelligence

THRU: Deputy Director (Intelligence)

SUBJECT: Flying Saucers

1. PROBLEM

To determine:

a. Whether there are national security implications in the problem of "unidentified flying objects" i.e. flying saucers;

b. Whether adequate study and research is currently being directed to this problem in its relation to such national security implications; and

c. What further investigation and research should be instituted, by whom, and under what aegis.

2. FACTS BEARING ON THE PROBLEM

a. OSI has investigated the work currently being performed on flying saucers and has found that:

(1) The only unit of government currently studying the problem is the Directorate of Intelligence, USAF, which has charged the Air Technical Intelligence Center (ATIC) with responsibility for investigating the reports of sightings.

(2) At ATIC there is a small group consisting of a reserve Captain, two Lieutenants and two secretaries to which come all reports of sightings through official channels, and which conducts investigation of the reports either itself or through consultation with other Air Force officers or with civilian technical consultants.

(3) A world-wide reporting system has been instituted and major Air Force Bases have been ordered to make interceptions of unidentified flying objects.

(4) The research being carried on is strictly on a case basis and appears to be designed solely to attempt a satisfactory explanation of each individual sighting as it occurs.

(5) ATIC has concluded an arrangement with Battelle Memorial Institute for the latter to establish a machine indexing system for official reports of sightings.

(6) Since 1947, ATIC has received approximately 1500 official reports of sightings plus an enormous volume of letters, phone calls and press reports. During the month of July 1952 alone, official reports totaled 250. Of the 1500 reports, Air Force carries 20% as unexplained and of those received January through July 1952 it carries 20% unexplained.

3. DISCUSSION

a. OSI entered into its inquiry fully aware that is was coming into a field already charged with partisanship, one in which objectivity had been overridden by numerous sensational writers, and one in which there are pressures for extravagant explanations as well as for oversimplification. The OSI Team consulted with a representative of Air Force Special Studies Group; discussed the problem with those in charge of the Air Force Project at Wright field; reviewed a considerable volume of intelligence reports; checked the Soviet press and broadcast indices; and conferred with three OSI consultants, all leaders in their scientific fields, who were chosen because of their broad knowledge of the technical areas concerned.

b. OSI found that the ATIC study is probably valid if the purpose is limited to a case-by-case explanation. However, the study makes no attempt to solve the more fundamental aspect of the problem which is to determine definitely the nature of the various phenomena which are causing these sightings, or to discover means by which these causes and their visual or electronic effects may be immediately identified. Our consultant panel stated that those solutions would probably be found on the margins or just beyond the frontiers of our present knowledge in the fields of atmospheric, ionospheric, and extraterrestrial phenomena, with the added possibility that our present dispersal of nuclear waste products might also be a factor. They recommended that a study group be formed to perform three functions:

(1) Analyze and systematize the factors of information which form the fundamental problem;

(2) Determine the fields of fundamental science which must be investigated in order to reach an understanding of the phenomenon involved; and

(3) Make recommendations for the initiation of appropriate research.

Dr. Julius A. Stratton, Vice President of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, has indicated to OSI that such a group could be constituted at that Institute. Similarly, Project Lincoln, the Air Force air defense project at MIT, could be charged with those responsibilities.

4. CONCLUSION

a. The flying saucer situation contains two elements of danger which, in a situation of international tensions, have national security implications. These are:

(1) Psychological – With world-wide sightings reported, it was found that, up to the time of our investigation, there had been in the Russian press no report or comment, even satirical, on flying saucers, though Andre Gromyko had made one humorous mention of the subject. With a State-controlled press, this could result only from an official policy decision. The question, therefore, arises as to whether or not these sightings:

(a) Could be controlled,

(b) Could be predicted, and

(c) Could be used from a psychological warfare point of view either offensively or defensively.

The public concern with the phenomena, which is reflected in the United States press and in pressure of inquiry upon the Air Force, indicates that there is a fair proportion of our population which is mentally conditioned to the acceptance of the incredible. In this fact lies the potential for the touching-off of mass hysteria and panic.

(2) Air Vulnerability – The United States Air Warning System will undoubtedly always depend upon a combination of radar screening and visual observation. We give Russia the present capability of delivering an air attack against us, yet at any given moment now, there may be current a dozen official unidentified sightings plus many unofficial. At any moment of attack, we are now in a position where we cannot, on an instant basis, distinguish hardware from phantom, and as tension mounts we will run the increasing risk of false alerts and the even greater danger of falsely identifying the real as phantom.

b. Both of these problems are ordinarily operational in nature but each contains readily apparent intelligence factors. From an operational point of view, three actions are required:

(1) Immediate steps should be taken to improve identification of both visual and electronic phantoms so that in the event of an attack, instant and positive identification of enemy planes or missiles can be made.

(2) A study should be instituted to determine what, if any, utilization could be made of these phenomena by United States psychological warfare planners, and what, if any, defenses should be planned in anticipation of Soviet attempts to utilize them.

(3) A national policy should be established as to what should be told the public regarding the phenomena, in order to minimize risk of panic.

c. Intelligence problems include:

(1) The present level of Russian knowledge regarding these phenomena.

(2) Possible Soviet intentions and capabilities to utilize these phenomena to the detriment of US security interests.

(3) The reasons for silence in the Soviet Press regarding flying saucers.

d. Intelligence responsibilities in this field as regards both collection and analysis can be discharged with maximum effectiveness only after much more is known regarding the exact nature of these phenomena.

e. The problem transcends the level of individual departmental responsibilities, and is of such importance as to merit cognizance and action by the National Security Council.

f. Additional research, differing in character and emphasis from that presently being performed by the Air Force, will be required to meet the specific needs of both operations and intelligence.

5. RECOMMENDATIONS

It is recommended that:

a. The Director of Central Intelligence advise the National Security Council of the security implications inherent in the flying saucer problem with the request that, under his statutory coordinating authority, the Director of Central Intelligence be empowered to initiate through the appropriate agencies, either within or without the government, the investigation and research necessary to solve the problem of instant positive identification of "unidentified flying objects."

b. CIA, under its assigned responsibilities, and in cooperation with the psychological strategy board, immediately investigate possible offensive or defensive utilization of the phenomena for psychological warfare purposes both for and against the United States, advising those agencies charged with U.S. internal security of any pertinent findings affecting their areas of responsibility.

c. On the basis of these programs of research, CIA develop and recommend for adoption by the National Security Council a policy of public information which will minimize the risk of panic.

Note: Hundreds of military and government witnesses have gone on record claiming a major cover-up around UFOs. Among them are a former chief of the CIA, the former chiefs of defense of the UK and Canada, and two NASA astronauts, including Edgar Mitchell, the sixth man to walk on the moon. Why haven't most people heard about this? See below for more important information.

I’m 63. Except for one semester in college when jobs were scarce and a six-month period when I was between jobs, but job-hunting every day, I’ve worked, hard, since I was 18. Despite some health challenges, I still put in 50-hour weeks, and haven’t called in sick in seven or eight years. I make a good salary, but I didn’t inherit my job or my income, and I worked to get where I am. Given the economy, there’s no retirement in sight, and I’m tired. Very tired.

I’m tired of being told that I have to “spread the wealth” to people who don’t have my work ethic. I’m tired of being told the government will take the money I earned, by force if necessary, and give it to people too lazy to earn it.

I’m tired of being told that I have to pay more taxes to “keep people in their homes.” Sure, if they lost their jobs or got sick, I’m willing to help. But if they bought McMansions at three times the price of our paid-off, $250,000 condo, on one-third of my salary, then let the left-wing Congress-critters who passed Fannie and Freddie and the Community Reinvestment Act that created the bubble help them with their own money.

I’m tired of being told how bad America is by left-wing millionaires like Michael Moore, George Soros and Hollywood Entertainers who live in luxury because of the opportunities America offers. In thirty years, if they get their way, the United States will have the economy of Zimbabwe, the freedom of the press of China, the crime and violence of Mexico, the tolerance for Christian people of Iran, and the freedom of speech of Venezuela.

I’m tired of being told that Islam is a “Religion of Peace,” when every day I can read dozens of stories of Muslim men killing their sisters, wives and daughters for their family “honor”; of Muslims rioting over some slight offense; of Muslims murdering Christian and Jews because they aren’t “believers”; of Muslims burning schools for girls; of Muslims stoning teenage rape victims to death for “adultery”; of Muslims mutilating the genitals of little girls; all in the name of Allah, because the Qur’an and Sharia law tells them to.

I’m tired of being told that “race doesn’t matter” in the post-racial world of Obama, when it’s all that matters in affirmative action jobs, lower college admission and graduation standards for minorities (harming them the most), government contract set-asides, tolerance for the ghetto culture of violence and fatherless children that hurts minorities more than anyone, and in the appointment of U.S. Senators from Illinois.

I think it’s very cool that we have a black president and that a black child is doing her homework at the desk where Lincoln wrote the Emancipation Proclamation. I just wish the black president was Condi Rice, or someone who believes more in freedom and the individual and less arrogantly of an all-knowing government.

I’m tired of a news media that thinks Bush’s fundraising and inaugural expenses were obscene, but that think Obama’s, at triple the cost, were wonderful; that thinks Bush exercising daily was a waste of presidential time, but Obama exercising is a great example for the public to control weight and stress; that picked over every line of Bush’s military records, but never demanded that Kerry release his; that slammed Palin, with two years as governor, for being too inexperienced for VP, but touted Obama with three years as senator as potentially the best president ever. Wonder why people are dropping their subscriptions or switching to Fox News? Get a clue. I didn’t vote for Bush in 2000, but the media and Kerry drove me to his camp in 2004.

I’m tired of being told that out of “tolerance for other cultures” we must let Saudi Arabia use our oil money to fund mosques and mandrassa Islamic schools to preach hate in America, while no American group is allowed to fund a church, synagogue or religious school in Saudi Arabia to teach love and tolerance.

I’m tired of being told I must lower my living standard to fight global warming, which no one is allowed to debate. My wife and I live in a two-bedroom apartment and carpool together five miles to our jobs. We also own a three-bedroom condo where our daughter and granddaughter live. Our carbon footprint is about 5% of Al Gore’s, and if you’re greener than Gore, you’re green enough.

I’m tired of being told that drug addicts have a disease, and I must help support and treat them, and pay for the damage they do. Did a giant germ rush out of a dark alley, grab them, and stuff white powder up their noses while they tried to fight it off? I don’t think Gay people choose to be Gay, but I damn sure think druggies chose to take drugs. And I’m tired of harassment from cool people treating me like a freak when I tell them I never tried marijuana.

I’m tired of illegal aliens being called “undocumented workers,” especially the ones who aren’t working, but are living on welfare or crime. What’s next? Calling drug dealers, “Undocumented Pharmacists”? And, no, I’m not against Hispanics. Most of them are Catholic, and it’s been a few hundred years since Catholics wanted to kill me for my religion. I’m willing to fast track for citizenship any Hispanic person, who can speak English, doesn’t have a criminal record and who is self-supporting without family on welfare, or who serves honorably for three years in our military…. Those are the citizens we need.

I’m tired of latte liberals and journalists, who would never wear the uniform of the Republic themselves, or let their entitlement-handicapped kids near a recruiting station, trashing our military. They and their kids can sit at home, never having to make split-second decisions under life and death circumstances, and bad mouth better people than themselves. Do bad things happen in war? You bet. Do our troops sometimes misbehave? Sure. Does this compare with the atrocities that were the policy of our enemies for the last fifty years and still are? Not even close. So here’s the deal. I’ll let myself be subjected to all the humiliation and abuse that was heaped on terrorists at Abu Ghraib or Gitmo, and the critics can let themselves be subject to captivity by the Muslims, who tortured and beheaded Daniel Pearl in Pakistan, or the Muslims who tortured and murdered Marine Lt. Col. William Higgins in Lebanon, or the Muslims who ran the blood-spattered Al Qaeda torture rooms our troops found in Iraq, or the Muslims who cut off the heads of schoolgirls in Indonesia, because the girls were Christian. Then we’ll compare notes. British and American soldiers are the only troops in history that civilians came to for help and handouts, instead of hiding from in fear.

I’m tired of people telling me that their party has a corner on virtue and the other party has a corner on corruption. Read the papers; bums are bipartisan. And I’m tired of people telling me we need bipartisanship. I live in Illinois , where the “Illinois Combine” of Democrats has worked to loot the public for years. Not to mention the tax cheats in Obama’s cabinet.

I’m tired of hearing wealthy athletes, entertainers and politicians of both parties talking about innocent mistakes, stupid mistakes or youthful mistakes, when we all know they think their only mistake was getting caught. I’m tired of people with a sense of entitlement, rich or poor.

Speaking of poor, I’m tired of hearing people with air-conditioned homes, color TVs and two cars called poor. The majority of Americans didn’t have that in 1970, but we didn’t know we were “poor.” The poverty pimps have to keep changing the definition of poor to keep the dollars flowing.

I’m real tired of people who don’t take responsibility for their lives and actions. I’m tired of hearing them blame the government, or discrimination or big-whatever for their problems.

Yes, I’m damn tired. But I’m also glad to be 63. Because, mostly, I’m not going to have to see the world these people are making. I’m just sorry for my granddaughter
